The aim of the Immunisation program is to enhance the quality of immunisation services and improve immunisation
rates within the Division to achieve the national objective of having at least 90% of children under seven fully vaccinated. The program offers: 

•  Practice visits to GPs 
  
•  Phone advice 
  
•  Education and assistance with data cleaning to improve practice coverage rates and income 
  
•  Dissemination of resources 
  
•  Educational Seminars 
  
•  Improved practice access to GPII payments 
  
•  Assistance to practices to identify children overdue for immunisations 
  
•  Advice regarding Cold Chain management and the current immunisation schedule 
  
•  Data logging of fridges used to store vaccines 
  
•  Provision of min/max thermometers at cost price 
  
•  Liaison with local government to improve immunisation rates 
  
•  Provision of general updates through regular Division fax outs
