The Pharmacy Guild are now asking for Representatives for the following 3 committees:
- The role of community pharmacy in post hospital management of patients initiated on warfarin
(although this committee has the same name as the one previously mentioned, this project was awarded in early March, with the contract signed by the end of March. The project is in its infancy, and is due to run until March 2010. The methodology has been approved by the Advisory Panel, however many “touch points” have been built into the subcontract allowing for monitoring progress);
- Improving Medication Compliance; and
- Increasing community pharmacy involvement in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR:
The Pharmacy Guild will cover travel and accommodation costs as well as sitting fee support (actual support costs not yet finalised) for face to face meetings only
